One of the main ingredients in founding U.S. Imaging Solutions was the company's unwavering commitment to the South Florida community in time, money, and leadership. USIS continues to contribute all three of the above to many organizations in the tri-county region. Most recently we are involved in the following organizations:

 

 

Broward College – Sean Guerin was appointed to the Board of Trustees by Governor Crist in 2007 and is currently the Board Chairman.

  • The mission of Broward College is to achieve student success by developing informed and creative students capable of contributing to a knowledge- and service-based global society. Broward College is Broward County’s oldest and largest institution of higher learning. It is committed to fostering a learning-centered community that celebrates diversity and inclusion by empowering and engaging students, faculty, and staff.

Broward Workshop – Sean Guerin is on the Board of Directors of this organization and is currently the co-chair of the Governmental Affairs Committee.

  • Broward Workshop is a nonprofit organization consisting of the chief decision makers representing 100 of Broward County’s major businesses and professions. Through the Workshop, business leaders seek to facilitate positive solutions to Broward County’s critical issues and to serve as a catalyst to encourage the cooperative effort between various entities working towards common goals.

American Heart Association Walk -- Britt Sikes is the Broward Chair for the event in 2012.

The Start! Heart Walk is the American Heart Association's premiere event for raising funds to save lives from this country's No. 1 and No. 3 killers - heart disease and stroke.

Designed to promote physical activity and heart-healthy living, the Start! Heart Walk creates an environment that's fun and rewarding for the entire family.

This year, more than 1 million walkers will participate in nearly 350 events. Your participation will help us raise even more in our fight to save lives. Walk with friends, family, coworkers or strangers you'll bond with along the way.

Workforce Florida – Britt Sikes joined the Board in 2010 and is currently the Board Secretary.

  • A catalyst for creating and nurturing world-class talent, Workforce Florida is the statewide, business-led workforce policy board. Charged with overseeing the state’s workforce system, Workforce Florida develops strategies to help Floridians enter and advance in the workforce while supporting economic development priorities and strengthening the state’s business climate. Our No. 1 priority is getting Floridians back to work while supporting the retention and advancement of those who are employed. Also critical to our work is ensuring that Florida is preparing for and responding to tomorrow’s talent needs as well as today's.

Facing It Together – Sean Guerin was one of the founding board members and currently chairs the governance and marketing committee.

  • Facing It Together is a nonprofit organization with a mission to improve the lives of children in South Florida with craniofacial disorders resulting from birth, disease or trauma. Facing It Together provides funding for medical services for low income families, helps families through a support network, and is dedicated to funding advanced research on the treatment and prevention of craniofacial disorders.

Jack and Jill Foundation – Britt Sikes joined the Board in 2008.

  • Jack and Jill Foundation promotes the excellent preparation of succeeding generations of children as leaders, in all walks of life, so that they may attain their fullest potential as individuals, enjoy rewarding and fulfilling lives, and contribute to world peace, progress, and prosperity.

United Way of Broward County – Both Sean Guerin and Britt Sikes have been involved with the United Way since 1999. They have both been members of the Alexis de Toqueville Society and Britt Sikes is currently in his second year as Chairman of the Board.

United Way of Broward County is a volunteer driven, community-based, nonprofit organization with a mission to improve the lives of individuals and families in Broward County. United Way of Broward County unites the resources of donors, volunteers, and agencies to identify and target the community’s most pressing needs and create measurable results that have the greatest impact.
