Kelly Le Melle
Prior to beginning her career in the office imaging industry, Kelly gained experience with Snapple Beverages and Coinmach Industries in Long Island, NY, which is where she was born and raised and attended the New York Institute of Technology.
Kelly was fortunate to work within the Sales & Marketing force of Snapple Beverages after the discovery of the leaf and during the tea craze. This experience brought new meaning to earning the “end display” in a major grocery chain. Kelly’s natural interest in operations lead her to the laundry division of Coinmach Industries, which provided “turn-key” Laundromat facilities in New York. It was here that Kelly discovered the benefits of project management and total ownership from start finish.
After relocating to South Florida in January 1995, Kelly began her career with Danka Industries. As Regional Administration Manager, she was responsible for the operational success of four South Florida branches, which operated independently. The region was recognized for record revenue generation and overall operational improvement year after year. She accomplished the consolidation of operations to a centralized facility, maintaining administrative support at the branch level. The consolidation consisted of floor planning, process development, training, and implementation.
Later the SF Ops Center was relocated to St. Petersburg and Kelly joined MOS Imaging Systems, an independent Sharp dealer offering an opportunity and more importantly, a challenge. As Business Manager, Kelly played an integral role in business plan development and departmental restructuring to improve the efficiency of the organization and unite employees to welcome new concepts. After consistent improvements in operations, Kelly became VP of Operations. Partnered with IT, she successfully directed all facets of a software conversion, performed simultaneously with the conversion to a “one-call” concept for Client Services. This strategy changed the way MOS did business and provided the ultimate client experience. The newly designed concept increased client loyalty and became the life line for the organization.
Kelly started her journey with U.S. Imaging Solutions in May 2006 where she set forth on a mission to improve logistical workflow, warehouse design, distribution processes, and asset control. Operations drastically improved and Kelly’s focus to be efficient and effective is now company wide. Currently, Kelly is devising and implementing workflow procedures that are committed to optimizing the use of the company’s business tools.
Kelly’s commitment does not end with her career, she is a mother to Lauryn, 7, and Blaine, 5. She believes that striving to be better for yourself makes you better for those around you and is grateful to experience the joy of her family.
